Donated in 2007 by Lawrence R. and Anne D. Glenn and Susan Swope of the North American Station, the Stephen Swope Memorial Trophy is intended to create camaraderie and fellowship among all sailing participants in The Atlantic Round.  Crews from the five Home Clubs and The NAS are mixed for a morning and/or afternoon of racing, and an equitable system of scoring established by The Atlantic Round Committee of The NAS decides the annual winner among the clubs and nations.  The trophy is named in honor of Stephen P. Swope, who served as our beloved nineteenth Post Captain, 1998-2004.
