INTRODUCING: Maia & Ragna Agerup

The Agerup twins sailed in the 2016 Rio Olympics representing Norway and the Royal Norwegian Yacht Club before attending university in the US. The girls started sailing Optimists at age eight, moved on to 29ers, and then to the 49erFX skiffs for the Olympics. Maia sailed for Boston University and Ragna for Brown University. For multiple years, they both were All-American Women’s Skippers and All-American Coed Skippers. In 2019 Ragna was selected as the Women’s Sailor of the Year by the US Sailing Association. Since graduation, Maia has moved to New York City and is working at Credit Swiss.  Ragna is currently living in Oslo, Norway.
