“The objects of this Station are to encourage the art of building, rigging, and handling small vessels and the interest in seamanship and naval architecture, particularly in conjunction with the promotion of close ties between North American and Scandinavian yachtsmen.”

“In order to do so, the Station will not seek a large membership, but will especially welcome as members those distinguished by their activities in racing, cruising and naval architecture, and those who have sailed or contemplate sailing in Scandinavian waters, or who have any special interest in Scandinavian Yachting.” (Article II, Sec. 1 and 2 of NAS Constitution.)

Completed forms and letters should be sent together, by October 1st for the December Annual Meeting or April 1st for the Spring Meeting.

  • Proposer and Seconder's Letters of Support

    Proposer and Seconder must write an accompanying letter (which may be an email) giving as much detail as possible regarding the candidate’s qualifications. Of interest to the Membership Committee are the candidate’s activities in sailing in Scandinavian waters and in promoting closer ties between North American and Scandinavian yachting. A boating CV is helpful.
